This is a selection of the Series on Pesticides and the Series on Biocides.
The objective of the OECD Pesticide Programme is to help governments co-operate in assessing and reducing the risks of agricultural pesticides. The OECD encourages governments to share the work of pesticide registration and develops tools to monitor and minimise pesticide risk to health and the environment.
Non-agricultural pesticides are dealt with under the OECD Biocides Programme. Biocides represent a range of products that help destroy and control viruses, bacteria, algae etc. such as disinfectants, wood preservatives and rodenticides.
This document provides additional detailed guidance on crop field trials conducted according to OECD TG 509 (Testing of Chemicals on Crop Field Trial) and helps in planning the trials and in interpreting the results. The publication is organised in two parts: the core document on guidance for conducting crop field trials and the three Annexes containing additional information.
