Cette version révisée de La Mesure du Capital est le premier guide complet décrivant les différentes manières de mesurer les fonds propres. Il s'adresse aux statisticiens, chercheurs et analystes, donne des conseils pratiques tout en offrant des connaissances théoriques. Il propose aussi une vue d'ensemble de la documentation pertinente. Le manuel est composé de trois parties - une première partie avec une description non technique des principaux concepts et étapes de la mesure du capital; une deuxième partie visant leur mise en œuvre et une troisième partie décrivant la théorie ainsi qu’une formulation mathématique plus complète des processus de mesure.

This publication offers a general introduction to sustainability impact assessment, which is an approach for exploring the combined economic, environmental and social impacts of a range of proposed policies, programmes, strategies and action plans. Such assessments can also assist decision-making and strategic planning throughout the entire policy cycles. It is not an in-depth or detailed user manual, but rather outlines basic principles and process steps of sustainability impact assessments, drawing on examples from Switzerland, Belgium and the European Commission, among others. This publication is a valuable source of information for policy makers on sustainability impact assessments.

This directory provides official information on the mandates, dates of creation and durations of current mandates, composition of member countries and observers, and chairmanship of the OECD Council and its related committees, sub-committees, working groups, expert groups, and ad hoc groups. It includes coverage of the International Energy Agency and the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency and is updated annually. It is, in effect, a guide to country participation in the many activities of the OECD for the year 2010.

The OECD Economic Outlook analyses the current economic situation and examines the economic policies required to foster a sustained recovery in member countries. This issue covers the outlook to end-2011 for both OECD countries and selected non-OECD economies. Together with a wide range of cross-country statistics, the Outlook provides a unique tool to keep abreast of world economic developments.
In addition to the themes featured regularly, this issue contains three special chapters. The first covers prospects for growth & imbalances beyond the short-term, the second covers return to work after the crisis, and the third examines counter cyclical economic policy.
OECD countries have made significant reform progress in recent decades, in fields as diverse as competition policy, health care and the environment. How have they done it? And why have reforms advanced in some places and stalled in others? This collection of essays analyses the reform experiences of the 30 OECD countries in nine major policy domains in order to identify lessons, pitfalls and strategies that may help foster policy reform in the future. While taking full account of the tremendous differences in the political and institutional settings in which these reforms were undertaken, the authors highlight a number of common challenges and potential solutions that hold good across both countries and issue areas. They show that the scope for cross-national policy learning is enormous.
The importance of such reform lessons is all the greater in the wake of the global financial and economic crisis. As OECD governments confront the challenge of trying to restore public finances to health without undermining the recovery, they will need to pursue a careful mix of fiscal policies and growth-enhancing structural reforms. Designing, adopting and implementing such a policy mix will require the crafting of effective reforms and effective strategies for implementing them.

Die vorliegende Ausgabe behandelt die Aussichten bis Ende 2011 sowohl für die OECD-Länder als auch für ausgewählte Nicht-OECD-Volkswirtschaften. Der Wirtschaftsausblick, der durch ein breites Spektrum ländervergleichender Statistiken ergänzt wird, stellt ein in seiner Art einzigartiges Instrument dar, um sich über die weltwirtschaftliche Entwicklung auf dem Laufenden zu halten.

It proposes a strategy to correct imbalances and modernize the economy, accompanied by action plans in public administration and budgets; pensions; the governance of state owned enterprises; tax policies; employment and social policy; education; new sources of growth, innovation and green growth; competition; and the complex political economy problems associated with reforms in the public sector.
OECD Factbook 2010 is the sixth edition of a comprehensive and dynamic statistical annual from the OECD. More than 100 indicators cover a wide range of areas: population, economic production, foreign trade and investment, energy, labour force, information and communications, public finances, innovation, the environment, foreign aid, agriculture, taxation, education, health and quality of life. This year, the OECD Factbook features a focus chapter on the crisis and beyond.
Data are provided for all OECD member countries with area totals, and in some cases, for selected non-member economies. For each indicator, there is a two-page spread. A text page includes a short introduction followed by a detailed definition of the indicator, comments on comparability of the data, an assessment of long-term trends related to the indicator, and a list of references for further information on the indicator. The next page contains a table and a chart providing - at a glance - the key message conveyed by the data. A dynamic link (StatLink) is provided for each table and chart directing the user to a web page where the corresponding data are available in Excel® format. OECD Factbook 2010 is a key reference tool for everyone working on economic and policy issues.
