These fact sheets present the radioactive waste management programmes of 20 OECD/NEA member countries. They include information about the sources, types and quantities of waste as well as how and by whom they are managed. References for further information are also provided for each country.
La déréglementation et la privatisation dans le secteur des transports ont certes entraîné, en général, des gains de productivité, mais les espoirs suscités par les réformes ne se sont pas tous matérialisés. En particulier, la réforme de la fourniture de services d’infrastructure n’a pas mobilisé des capitaux privés comme prévu. En outre, les relations contractuelles se sont révélées moins stables et leur efficience s’est moins améliorée que l’on ne s’y attendait. Dans l’optique du débat actuel sur les résultats des réformes, la table ronde était axée sur les questions suivantes :
- Où se situent les limites de la déréglementation ?
- Quels sont les facteurs cruciaux qui nécessitent une réglementation ?
- Quel est le rôle des coûts de transaction associés à la réglementation ?
- Quel est le coût de la réglementation ?
While deregulation and privatisation in the transport sector have led to increases in productivity in general, not all reform hopes have materialised. In particular, the reform of the provision of infrastructure services has not caused the expected mobilisation of private resources, and concession relations have been less stable and less efficiency-enhancing than expected. In view of current discussions of reform results, the Round Table focused on the following issues:
- What are the limits for deregulation?
- Which are the crucial factors that necessitate regulation?
- What is the role of the transaction costs of regulation?
- What is the cost of regulation?

This book presents the results of a peer review of the Czech Republic's environmental policies and programmes. It systematically covers air, water, and waste management; nature and biodiversity management; the environmental/economic interface; the enviornmental/social interface; and international co-operation. It includes extensive statistical information as well as specific recommendations in each of the topics covered.
This second OECD Economic Survey of Brazil makes a detailed examination of macroeconomic policies, financial markets, the regulatory framework and social policies and expenditure. They are intended for the work of the three intergovernmental organizations who have created this compilation: the European Union (EU), the ECMT and the Economic Commission for Europe of the United Nations (UNECE).
Ce glossaire a pour but d'assister les pays membres pendant la collecte de données sur le transport effectuée par la CEE-ONU, la CEMT et Eurostat au moyen du Questionnaire commun.
Cette troisième édition est le résultat de la coopération entre ces trois organisations, qui, grâce à un Groupe de travail Intersecrétariat, poursuivent l'effort d'harmonisation des statistiques de transport au niveau international. En suivant l'orientation exprimée dans ces définitions, une contribution considérable sera donnée à l'amélioration de la qualité des données et de leur comparabilité.
L'édition 2005 de l'Étude économique consacrée par l'OCDE à la Suisse porte sur les principaux enjeux de la politique économique, à savoir l'amélioration du cadre budgétaire, la réforme des programmes sociaux, l'intensification de la concurrence, le renforcement de l'innovation et l'accroissement de l'offre de main-d'œuvre.
