A OCDE e a FAO desenvolveram este Guia para ajudar as empresas a cumprir normas sobre conduta empresarial responsável e realizar a devida diligência nas cadeias de fornecimento do setor agrícola, de forma a garantir que suas operações contribuam para o desenvolvimento sustentável. O Guia inclui:

• Um modelo de política empresarial que descreve as normas que devem ser observadas pelas empresas na construção de cadeias de fornecimento responsáveis no setor agrícola;

• Um processo para realizar a devida diligência baseada em riscos, que descreve os cincos passos que devem ser tomados pelas empresas para identificar, prevenir, mitigar e prestar contas de como lidam com os impactos adversos de suas atividades;

• Uma descrição dos maiores riscos enfrentados pelas empresas e das medidas para mitigar esses riscos;

• Um guia de engajamento com povos indígenas.

Le Comité d’aide au développement (CAD) de l’OCDE procède à des examens par les pairs de ses membres une fois tous les cinq ou six ans. Ces examens visent à améliorer la qualité et l’efficacité de leur coopération pour le développement, en mettant en évidence les bonnes pratiques et en recommandant des améliorations. Le Programme 2030 est au cœur de la politique extérieure et de coopération de l’Espagne. Cette dernière noue des alliances pour atteindre les Objectifs de développement durable, à l’échelle internationale et dans ses pays partenaires. L’Espagne est estimée pour son approche partenariale horizontale et inclusive et sa capacité à mobiliser l’expertise du secteur public pour acquérir et partager les connaissances. Alors que le pays s'engage dans une réforme de sa coopération pour le développement, cet examen formule des recommandations destinées à améliorer le pilotage stratégique, rationaliser le cadre administratif, renforcer les ressources humaines et déployer pleinement sa coopération financière.

The OECD’s Development Assistance Committee (DAC) conducts peer reviews of individual members once every five to six years. Reviews seek to improve the quality and effectiveness of members’ development co-operation, highlighting good practices and recommending improvements. Spain has put the 2030 Agenda at the centre of its foreign policy and development co-operation. It works in alliances to reach the Sustainable Development Goals, internationally and in partner countries. Spain is valued for its work in horizontal and inclusive partnerships, and its ability to mobilise public sector expertise to capture and share knowledge. As Spain embarks on a comprehensive reform of its development co-operation strategy and architecture, this peer review provides a set of recommendations to improve strategic steering, streamline its administrative framework, strengthen human resources and fully mobilise its financial co-operation.

Mining plays a crucial role in Brazil’s economy. Nonetheless, the efforts and resources devoted to regulatory quality in the sector, including the enforcement of rules, have not always been commensurate. This report identifies the gaps, barriers, implementation flaws and inefficiencies in the regulatory framework of the mining sector in Brazil. It takes stock of the recent reforms in the mining sector in Brazil, identifies areas that pose the greatest challenges for effective regulation in mining. It also describes the reforms that created the National Mining Agency of Brazil, its governance arrangements and its current regulatory practices. These are assessed against OECD principles in regulatory policy and mining regulation, as well as against country experiences from Australia, Chile, and Mexico. Finally, recommendations are provided to support further reform efforts.

A mineração desempenha um papel fundamental na economia do Brasil. No entanto, os esforços e recursos dedicados à qualidade regulatória no setor, incluindo a aplicação de regras, nem sempre foram proporcionais ao peso que esse setor representa nas finanças do país. Este relatório identifica problemas, barreiras, falhas de implementação e ineficiências do marco regulatório do setor de mineração no Brasil. Além disso, o documento também fornece uma avaliação geral das recentes reformas no setor de mineração no Brasil, identificando as áreas que representam os maiores desafios para uma regulação eficaz neste setor. O documento também aborda as reformas que criaram a Agência Nacional de Mineração do Brasil, explicando como funciona sua administração e suas práticas regulatórias atuais. Esses dados e informações são avaliados de acordo com os princípios da Organização para a Cooperação e Desenvolvimento Econômico (OCDE) em política regulatória e regulação de mineração, bem como em comparação com as experiências da Austrália, Chile e México. Finalmente, são fornecidas recomendações no sentido de apoiar esforços de reformas adicionais.

This report brings together 45 of the education continuity stories that were jointly documented by the OECD, the World Bank, Harvard’s Global Education Innovation Initiative and HundrED during the first wave of school closures related to the COVID-19 pandemic. It covers a variety of different examples on how governments and non-governmental organisations quickly responded to school closures to implement a strategy for learners around the world to continue to study. While often based on the use of digital solutions, those solutions target specific solutions aimed at academic learning, socio-emotional support, teacher professional development, etc. The book covers examples from low, middle and high income countries on all continents and draws some lessons of these fast-paced responses to reimagine a post-pandemic education across the world.
