International Monetary Fund (IMF)

In 1995, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) continued to increase its operations in almost every aspect of its work and made far-reaching changes in policies and practices governing its relations with member countries. In the light of the changed world economic environment of increased globalization and integration of markets for goods, services and capital, IMF worked to strengthen surveillance over members’ exchangerate policies and to adapt its financial instruments and procedures. It also reviewed the adequacy of its financial resources in carrying out its responsibilities.
