Overview of ITU-T security activities

The ITU-T work on ICT security has been underway for over three decades, during which time Recommendations and guidance have been developed in a number of key areas by several Study Groups. Study Group 17 (SG 17) now has primary responsibility for the ITU-T ICT security work and has also been designated the Lead Study Group on Security. However, aspects of security extend to most areas of the ITU-T work and most Study Groups are undertaking security work related to their own area of responsibility.
