Getting It Right

Getting it Right is one of the most complete toolkits that the OECD has designed to help a country at the start of a new government administration. Introduction
It is now five years since the onset of the worst economic and financial crisis in decades, and the main scenario continues to be one of high risk – including the so-called fiscal cliff in the United States and unresolved financial, fiscal and institutional agendas in Europe. The majority of OECD countries are still facing the consequences of the crisis: high public debt, sluggish or even negative growth, record high unemployment, and fragile banking systems.
