ReICO is a collaborative effort - the contributions of national governments, research institutions, international organisations and the wider R&I community are essential to its success. There are many ways to get involved in ReICO: sharing data and insights that strengthen the monitoring of R&I talent, joining expert discussions on the policy challenges at stake and how to address them, or helping to shape the indicators and methods as they develop. We welcome new partners and perspectives. Learn more below or contact us at Reico@oecd.org.
Engage with ReICO
ReICO Takes the Stage at the OECD Blue Sky 4 Meeting (September 2026)
ReICO-related topics will feature heavily in the 4th OECD Blue Sky Forum on science, technology and innovation data and indicators, taking place on 14th-16th September at OECD headquarters in Paris.
Join the ReICO Community
Joining the "Friends of ReICO" community is a great way to stay connected and find opportunities to collaborate with the ReICO project. Members receive updates on ReICO activities and invitations to events, and they hear about new developments first. The ReICO team welcomes community contributions of all kinds: information on new data sources to enhance talent monitoring, case studies and policy briefs on R&I career pathways, or feedback on indicators and methods to improve them.
ReICO National Contact Points
ReICO has established a Group of National Contact Points (NCPs) to support high-quality statistics and promote knowledge exchange. Through their designated representatives, countries contribute to the joint design of annual OECD data collections aimed at improving international statistical comparisons. NCPs draw on their knowledge of domestic priorities and data availability to help shape these efforts. They also provide - or coordinate with domestic stakeholders to provide - relevant national data from official and other statistical sources. In addition, NCPs support the review of OECD outputs, contribute to comparative analysis, share insights, and exchange good practices with peers.
Most NCPs have been nominated by their respective countries through the OECD Working Party of National Experts on Science and Technology Indicators (NESTI). The following institutions are currently represented as ReICO NCPs:
