The OECD Economic Outlook is the OECD's twice-yearly analysis of the major economic trends and prospects for the next two years. The Outlook puts forward a consistent set of projections for output, employment, prices, fiscal and current account balances.

Coverage is provided for all OECD member countries as well as for selected non-member countries. This issue includes a general assessment, a series of focus notes on selected macroeconomic and structural issues, and a chapter summarising developments and providing projections for each individual country.

Gospodarska rast bo do leta 2021 predvidoma ostala na ravni okrog treh odstotkov. Še naprej bo glavno gonilo rasti zasebna potrošnja, ki jo bodo vzdrževale višje plače in stabilno povečevanje zaposlenosti. Negotovost glede zunanjega okolja bo upočasnila hitrost novih poslovnih investicij. Napredek v izvozni uspešnosti se bo upočasnil z rastočimi stroški na enoto dela. Uvozna vsebnost v izvozu se povečuje hkrati z upadanjem tujega povpraševanja po proizvodih z višjo domačo dodano vrednostjo. Domače povpraševanje zaradi vse bolj omejenih zmogljivosti vedno bolj zadovoljuje uvoz.
