Policy Responses to Climate Change and Sea-Level Rise

Our Group was established because the Commonwealth Heads of Government considered that there was a prima facie case for reviewing their policies so as to protect their nations against possible difficulties created by climate change and sea level rise, and to enhance international co-operation within the Commonwealth and on a wider scale. Our terms of reference specifically require us to review the measures countries should take to protect themselves against disasters and to plan forward so as to avoid problems.
