AB It is only since 2004, and the influx of funding via the European Union’s Structural Fund programmes, that a set of co-ordinated policy measures favouring innovation and entrepreneurship has been launched in Estonia. Innovative, growth-oriented companies can now receive higher support grants/loans from Enterprise Estonia, export marketing support, and/or guarantees for export-oriented companies from KredEx (the Credit and Export Guarantee Fund founded in 2001 to improve the financing of enterprises in Estonia).
