Conclusion

The Framework represents an advance in the analysis of how countries should address the challenges of measuring the performance of regulatory policy that can be progressively developed through an examination of its application in practice. It recommends countries to systematically evaluate the design and implementation of regulatory policy, against the achievement of strategic regulatory objectives. This includes collecting key information on the actual implementation of regulatory policy programmes and tools.
