  This subset of the activity of Multinationals in Manufacturing dataset focuses on the inward activity by industrial sector. Varaiables such as value added, turnover, intra-firm exports, stock of FDI, gross operating surplus and such are compared by industrial sector (chemical products, food, textiles). It contains figures on the activity of affiliates under foreign control by industry according to the International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC Revision 3). Data are presented from 1970 onwards.

  This dataset includes statistics analyzing inward activities by multinationals in terms of investing country. It contains figures on affiliates under foreign control by investing country in the total manufacturing sector. It uses ISIC Rev. 3 (International Standard Industrial Classification) as reference Variables such as intra-firm exports, number of researchers, turnover, R&D expenditures, gross operating surplus are compared by partner countries. Data are presented as annual datapoints from 1970 onwards.

It uses the ISIC Rev.3 Classification (International Standard Industrial Classification) to compare variables such as value added, turnover, total imports, gross operating surplus. Data are presented as annual datapoints from 1985 onwards.

  This database has been discontinued. This database provides comprehensive data on the industrial activity (manufacturing, service) of multinationals in OECD. It covers variables such as production, employment, research and trade, inward as well as outward investment. It also include some international trade indicators that provide cross-disciplinary background information.

  This database has been discontinued. This dataset comprises statistics on micro trade indicators (Trade indicators on detailed (chapter/section) level (total trade, trade of goods, trade of services), in current prices, for OECD member countries) by category of goods with respect to the Harmonized System. HS presents a selection of indicators such as the world market share, the trade balance of goods, the export performance, the revealed comparative advantage and such by category of goods. Data is available from 1996 onwards.

The types of services are presented according to the services classification of the 1993 Fifth edition of the Balance of Payments Manual of the International Monetary Fund (BPM5) and its detailed extension, the Extended Balance of Payments Services (EBOPS) Classification. Type of services range from travel, financial to insurance services and are compared with indicators such as comparative advantage, market share, export performance and Herfindalh index.
