OECD International Direct Investment Statistics gives access to a comprehensive set of statistics on foreign direct investment (FDI) into and out of OECD countries. The data are presented in a standardised format combining sectoral and geographical breakdowns for flow and stock data from 1982 onwards. Summary tables and more detailed country table are available.

  • Foreign direct investment: main aggregates

    This dataset provides cross-country comparisons of international direct investment flows through main aggregates (inflows, outflows) and positions (inward, outward). Data are provided in millions of US dollars and are available from 1990 onwards.

    This comparative table provides statistics for OECD countries foreign direct investment flows (inflows, outflows) by industrial sector (Agriculture, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals,retail trade) with respect to the International Standard Industrial Classification Rev. 3 secondary level classification.     This dataset provides for OECD countries international direct investment positions (inward, outward) by industrial sector (transport, construction, monetary intermediation, insurance, fishing, chemical products, real estate) according to the International Standard Industrial Classification Rev. 3 secondary level classification. Data are provided in national currency and United States dollars (USD) and are available from 1985 onwards.
