The measuring globalisation statistics provide comprehensive data on the industrial activity (manufacturing, service) of multinationals in OECD. It covers variables such as production, employment, research and trade, inward as well as outward investment. It also include some international trade indicators that provide cross-disciplinary background information.

Hide / Show Abstract

This dataset comprises statistics of multinationals share in national total while containing figures on the shares of industrial sectors that are controlled by affiliates located abroad in each country (outward investment as a percentage of national total). Shares of industrial sectors are compared with variables such as number of enterprises, value added, compensation of employee,turnover, and so on. It uses ISIC Rev. 3 (International Standard Industrial Classification).
