The OECD Employment and Labour Market Statistics database includes a range of annual labour market statistics and indicators from 1960 broken down by sex and age as well as information about part-time and short-time workers, job tenure, hours worked, unemployment duration, trade union, employment protection legislation, minimum wages, labour market programmes for OECD countries and non-member economies.

    This dataset contains information on the stringency of national legislation on employment protection collective dismissals by presenting OECD indicators of employment protection as synthetic indicators of the strictness of regulation on dismissals and the use of temporary contracts. Data range from 0 to 6 with higher scores representing stricter regulation.

    This dataset contains information on the stringency of national legislation on employment protection for all jobs. Synthetic indicators are available for collective dismissals, difficulty of dismissal, fixed term contracts, notice and severance pay for no-fault individual dismissals, overall EPL, overall strictness of protection against dismissals, overall strictness of regulation, regular procedural inconveniences and temporary work agencies. Data range from 0 to 6 with higher scores representing stricter regulation and are available from 1985 onwards.
