The authoritative source of information on the foreign aid policies and programmes of donor countries, the annual Development Co-operation Report by the Chair of the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) presents detailed statistics and analysis on foreign aid flows and related policy developments. Policies and Efforts of Bilateral Donors

In 2002, DAC members’ aid rose by 7.2% to USD 58.3 billion, the highest real level achieved since 1992. As a share of national income, however, DAC ODA only rose from 0.22% in 2001 to 0.23% in 2002, still 0.10% below the level of ten years earlier.
